  tat artists are pretty damn liberal. Look at their own tats, if there's something questionable to you then move on.

  My chai and magen david were done by a Palestinian artist raised in Hebron. His parents still live in the territories and he saw it as a way for us to show that we can get along in peace and agree to disagree. I wouldn't call him my best friend but I did trust him with a needle and ink going into my skin.

  I live in the Philadelpia area, but I went to Bear, Delaware to Shane O'Neill to get my work done. I trust him as an artist and a human being. He's one of the best and it takes a while to get an appointment with him, but it's worth it! He's Irish, but he's cool with people of all walks of life.   This response might be a little late, but I drive 5 hours to get tattooed by Carla at No Ka Oi in Philadelphia. Carla has already done at least one chai! :)
